Joaquin Neira is the Vice President of Latin America & Caribbean at Berkley Environmental since June 2017. Previously, Joaquin served as the Environmental Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at AIG from August 2012 to June 2017, and as an Environmental Underwriter at Zurich Insurance Services from June 2006 to August 2012. Early career experiences include roles as an Environmental Risk Intern at Zurich North America, a Research & Development Associate at the National Atomic Energy Commission of Argentina, and a Senior Teaching Assistant at the University of Buenos Aires. Joaquin holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management with a focus on Corporate Environmental Management from Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Buenos Aires.
