Claire Machamer serves as the Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Berklee College of Music since May 2023. Prior to this role, Claire held the position of Vice Chancellor for Strategic Communications at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts from June 2015 to May 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing a new division focused on creative promotions and strategic partnerships. Claire's experience also includes positions at UAB Medicine, where Claire managed consumer communications, and Time Inc., where Claire worked as Managing Digital Editor for SouthernLiving.com, driving digital strategy and brand partnerships. Claire earned a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Auburn University.
