Daniel Castro, PE, is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical design and management across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Design Manager at Berkeley Lab since June 2024, Daniel plays a crucial role in developing sustainable infrastructure and managing large-scale electrical projects. Prior to this, Daniel held key positions at Stantec as Principal and Buildings Discipline Lead, Integral Group as Principal and Electrical Department Manager, Engineering 350 as Electrical Principal, BuroHappold Engineering as Senior Electrical Engineer, YEI Engineers, Inc. as Electrical Design Engineer, and Qualitau as Lead Engineer. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Francisco State University, earned between 1998 and 2004.
