Charu Jain is a graduate researcher at the USC Information Sciences Institute, specializing in the analysis of experimental errors in quantum computing and collaboration with IBM on mitigation strategies. Currently serving as a student assistant at Berkeley Lab, Charu Jain focuses on hardware-software integration for optimizing quantum network testbeds. Previous experience includes research internships at the University of Cyprus and the University of Alberta, where accomplishments involved computing optimal cluster sizes for wireless networks and developing simulations for wireless routing algorithms. Charu Jain has also worked at Chandhar Research Labs on a 5G authentication procedure, interned at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited focusing on network protocols, and contributed to predictive machine learning frameworks at Solarillion Foundation. Charu Jain holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Quantum Information Sciences from the University of Southern California, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering from SSN College of Engineering.
