Anand Krishnan Prakash is a Senior Scientific Engineering Associate at Berkeley Lab, specializing in software development for sensor and control device integration to enhance energy efficiency in buildings. Previously, Anand served as an Energy Analyst Intern at SparkMeter, focusing on commercial insights for micro-grid utilities, and as a Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, managing a data collection system for HVAC optimization. Experience also includes a software engineering role at Intuit, a research internship at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay creating smart monitoring solutions, and early internships at National Institute of Technology Calicut and C-DIT. Anand holds an M.S. in Energy Science Technology and Policy and is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, having obtained a dual Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
