Shaheen Shamsavari is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, business development, and venture investments. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Xandex Inc., Shaheen has held various roles within the company since May 2007, including Director of Venture Investments & Business Development. An active investor, Shaheen is also a member of the Berkeley Angel Network and Life Science Angels, having served as Co-Chair for the Device Screening Committee in 2013. Previous advisory positions include Board Observer at Retrotope, Inc. and advisor at 6SensorLabs, focusing on business strategy and fundraising. Shaheen's early career includes a role as Research Associate at Gilead Sciences, specializing in preclinical development of therapeutics. Shaheen holds a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed studies at the Haas School of Business.
