VK Jones brings extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as Senior Vice President, Engineering and Qualcomm Fellow at Qualcomm Incorporated since December 2006. Previous roles include Senior Vice President, Engineering and Vice President, Technology at Qualcomm. Prior to Qualcomm, VK Jones held the position of Chief Scientist and VP of ASIC at Airgo Networks and managed the Algorithm Group at Cisco Systems Inc. VK Jones began the professional career as Chief Scientist at Clarity Wireless. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MSEE in Engineering from Stanford University and a BSEE in Engineering from Purdue University.
