Christian Nicolaisen has extensive experience in journalism, having worked at Bergens Tidende since June 2011 in various roles, including Nyhetsleder for the crime and health department, Nyhetsleder for sports, and journalist, with a focus on crime reporting from 2011 to 2017 and serving as Klubbleder from 2017 to 2019. Prior to this, Christian worked as a journalist and news chief at Dagbladet Finnmarken from March 2009 to March 2011 and held journalistic positions at Avisa Nordland and Dagbladet.no, focusing on football reporting from March to October 2008. Christian holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Nord University, completed between 2006 and 2009, and attended the University of Bergen from 2001 to 2002.
