Ismail Rasheed is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as the Head of Safety, Security & Compliance at BEOND since September 2022. Previously, Ismail held various leadership roles, including Safety & Security Manager and Quality and Safety Manager at Trans Maldivian Airways from October 2005 to October 2022. Additional experience includes serving as the Director of Engineering & Maintenance at Manta Aviation Pvt Ltd from May 2018 to February 2022, Head of Airworthiness at Maldives CAA from October 2003 to October 2005, Engineering Manager & General Manager at SunExpress Airlines Maldives from September 1997 to February 2001, and multiple engineering roles at Air Maldives from February 1984 to April 1997. Ismail Rasheed holds a Diploma and Licence in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Air Service Training, UK, completed from 1981 to 1984, and received education from Majeediyya School in Male, Maldives.
