Donnie Holmes is an experienced ROV Pilot and Sub-Engineer currently employed at Benthic since January 2013, specializing in subsea construction for U.S. companies. Prior experience includes roles at Oceaneering International, Independent contractor, Mako Technologies, Seatrepid Robotics International, T&T Marine, Glasair Aviation, and Oceangate, covering a diverse range of responsibilities in subsea operations, systems maintenance, and piloting various remote vehicle systems. Notable skills include troubleshooting, well completions, and observational support for multiple inspection projects, with extensive experience in the Gulf of Mexico. Donnie Holmes has also accrued significant hours toward airframe and powerplant certification through work at Glasair Aviation. Education includes a diploma in General Studies from Auburn High School, earned between 1993 and 1996.
