Sara Violante is an experienced educator currently serving as a Third Grade Teacher at Bennett Day School, where Sara has been a founding staff member since July 2015. In this role, Sara leads the Senior Kindergarten and First Grade cohort, coordinating team meetings and employing coaching skills to enhance colleagues' teaching practices. Sara implements IMSE Orton Gillingham and Math in Focus curriculums while facilitating child-led project-based learning. Previous experience includes a First Grade Student Teacher position at William H. Prescott School, a Learning Assistant role at the British School of Chicago, and time as an Au Pair. Sara holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Erikson Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Santa Clara University.
