Ravi Patel is a Senior AI Scientist at BenevolentAI since October 2021, having previously held roles as an Advanced AI Scientist and AI Research Scientist Intern. Prior experience includes serving as an Academic Foundation Doctor at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where Patel published four first-author peer-reviewed articles, contributed to numerous conference abstracts, and co-founded Bleep101, a national medical simulation teaching program. Additional accomplishments include developing a pioneering neural network for orthopedic implant identification while at Imperial College London and experience as an Academic Supervisor in Physiology at the University of Cambridge. Ravi Patel holds an MB BChir in Clinical Medicine from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Machine Learning from UCL, and a Master of Arts in Natural Sciences with a specialism in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge.
