Sarah Boutin has a diverse work experience in the fields of copywriting, branding, and communications. Sarah started their career as an Editorial Intern at Citysearch and Splendora.com, where they gained experience in writing and reviewing content. Sarah then worked as a Freelance Writer at Mahalo before joining Benefit Cosmetics as a Junior Copywriter. At Benefit Cosmetics, Sarah managed various copywriting tasks and contributed to press releases and in-store signage. Sarah later moved on to bareMinerals, where they served as a Copywriter, creating content for visual assets and marketing materials. Sarah then advanced to the position of Manager and Senior Manager at bareMinerals, overseeing a team of copywriters and handling global copy campaigns. Sarah joined Salesforce in 2013, initially as a Manager and later as a Senior Manager, where they launched the company's first internal blog and developed effective communication strategies. In 2018, Sarah joined Visa as a Director of Global Employer Brand Communications before returning to Benefit Cosmetics as a Director and then Senior Director of Global Copy & Editorial.
Sarah Boutin completed their Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, they also studied at UC London Bloomsbury, focusing on Humanities/Humanistic Studies. Prior to their higher education, Sarah attended Lowell High School from 2000 to 2004. Furthermore, Sarah has obtained additional certifications, including the LVMH Cultivating Luxury Brand Desirability Course from LVMH in 2022 and two productivity courses from LinkedIn in 2020.
