Thomas Sweeney is an experienced IT professional with a background in managing global IT operations. Currently serving as Director of Global IT Operations at Benchmark since April 2020, Thomas previously held the position of Associate Director and US Site IT Leader at uniQure from November 2018 to April 2020. Prior experience includes serving as IT Director at Seagate Technology from July 2006 to September 2018, and at Maxtor Corporation from 2001 to 2006, where leadership was provided for infrastructure operations across multiple locations. Additionally, Thomas worked as a Senior IT Manager at Quantum Corporation from January 1997 to April 2001, overseeing datacenter operations. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Fitchburg State University, earned between 1985 and 1990.
