SM Dipali began working at Goldman Sachs in 2016, where they held multiple roles. These included working in the Executive Office, Client Strategy Group from July 2018 to August 2019, and in Investment Banking, Technology, Media, and Telecom Group from June 2016 to July 2018. During their time at Goldman Sachs, they were involved in various high-value deals, such as the $14.6 billion acquisition of Scripps Networks Interactive by Discovery Communications in 2018 and the $1.85 billion equity offering for MercadoLibre, including investments from PayPal and Dragoneer in 2019. They then moved on to work at The Blackstone Group in October 2019, where they were involved in growth equity until April 2023. Finally, in March 2023, SM Dipali joined Benchmark Gensuite®, where they currently work in finance and growth strategy.
SM Dipali attended NYU Stern School of Business where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance and International Business. Before attending NYU, SM Dipali also completed their high school education at Sycamore High School.
