Sean Smith is a Global Program Manager for APAC at Benchling since April 2018, responsible for overseeing post-sales activities and ensuring the success of Asia-Pacific customers. Previous roles include Planning Manager for the Queensland Government, where Sean conducted research and strategy development, and Management Consultant at the Australian Institute for Commercialisation, focusing on research and technology commercialization. Sean began the career as a Research Technician at The University of Queensland in the Frazer Laboratory, supporting cancer immunotherapy research. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from The University of Queensland, an MBA from QUT, and participation in an MBA Exchange Program at Grenoble Ecole de Management.
