Frank Zhang is a software engineer at Benchling, specializing in tenant management operations within the Application Platform Team. Since June 2021, Frank has contributed to projects focused on tenant migration, consolidation, and rebalancing, enhancing infrastructure cost efficiency and performance. Prior to Benchling, Frank served as a teaching assistant for various computer science courses at Carnegie Mellon University, including parallel algorithms and functional programming. Frank also held internships at Benchling and Uniriho Industrial Group, where tasks included software development and research on cryptosystem efficiency. In addition, Frank gained research experience at Carnegie Mellon University’s Mohimani Lab and the Institute for Software Research, focusing on algorithm optimization and hybrid planning frameworks. Frank holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University.
