Nicholas Johnson began their work experience in 2005 as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy, where they served until 2010. Nicholas then worked as a Telemarketing Sales Representative before transitioning to roles in sales and management at Cellular Communications Inc. and Newman Signs Inc. Nicholas also served as a Firefighter at the Dilworth Fire Department. Currently, they hold the role of Business Team Lead at BeMobile, Inc. and is a committed member of Vistage Worldwide, Inc., an executive coaching organization.

Nicholas Johnson attended Minnesota State University Moorhead from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Management.
