John Kalafatas has held various positions in the software engineering and development field since 2016. john began as a CTF Player and Penetration Tester in 2016 and then moved on to become a Full Stack Engineer at Hotel Advance in 2017. In 2019, they became a Full Stack Engineer at Tetractys Technologies, where they were responsible for improving and maintaining the current AWS Web application, working with React for the user interface, refactoring legacy code, and using tools for monitoring and catching errors in real time with Grafana and Sentry. Currently, they work as a Senior Software Engineer and Back End Developer at Belvo.

John Kalafatas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from ΙΕΚ ΔΕΛΤΑ in 2011-2013. In 2019, they also earned an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security.
