Alex Cortez is currently a Partner in Strategic Advising at Bellwether since September 2021. Prior to this role, Alex served as Managing Partner in the Education Portfolio and Reimagine School Systems Fund at New Profit from 2014 to 2021. Earlier in their career, Alex held various positions at KIPP Texas Public Schools, KIPP Foundation, The Bridgespan Group, Silver Oak Solutions, Dell, and Mitchell Madison Group. Alex holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in Political Science - International Relations from Columbia College, Columbia University. Additionally, Alex participated in a Summer Program on Israeli Foreign Policy at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1993.
