Kellea Taylor has extensive work experience in the education sector. From 2018 to the present, they have been with the Bellevue School District, where they held various roles including Director of School Support, Elementary and Director of Teaching and Learning, Elementary. Prior to these positions, they served as the Interim Director of Teaching and Learning, Elementary from September 2019 to June 2020, and as a Principal Substitute starting in 2018 until June 2020. Before their work in the education sector, they were the Vice President of the Strong4Sam Foundation starting in May 2015.

Kellea Taylor attended Seattle Pacific University and received a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Washington. Additionally, they obtained another Master's degree in Education from the University of Washington.
