Matthew Pennewell is currently working as an ELL Instructor/Facilitator at Bellevue Public Schools since August 2015. Prior to this, Matthew served as an ESL Teacher at Fayette County Public Schools (KY) from August 2009 to June 2015. Matthew also volunteered as a TEFL Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps from May 2004 to August 2006, where Matthew taught English to children and adults and was involved in anti-human trafficking initiatives. Matthew holds a Master of Education in K-12 ESL from the University of Michigan, a Post Bac. Certification in TESOL from Portland State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Central Michigan University.
