Tim Melvin is an experienced law enforcement professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Captain at Bellevue Police Department since September 2000, Tim Melvin commands the Criminal Investigations Division and has held the roles of Lieutenant and Sergeant, supervising the general investigation unit. Prior to this, Tim Melvin worked at Beatrice Police Department as a K-9 Handler assigned to road patrol night shift from May 1996 to August 2000. Tim Melvin's educational background includes completing a session at the FBI National Academy in 2022, earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Bellevue University in 2010, and studying at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1990 to 1993.
