John Stacey has a long and distinguished career in public service, focusing primarily on law enforcement and emergency response. John began their career in 1969 at Bellevue Fire and Rescue where they served as a Paramedic. In 1984, they were promoted to the position of Fire Chief, a role they held until 1998. In 1978, Stacey joined the Bellevue Police Department and rose through the ranks to become the Chief of Police, a position they currently hold.
John Stacey earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice from Bellevue University in 1998. John further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration in 2009.
