Kannyn Macrae has extensive work experience in the computer and consumer electronics accessory industry, specifically with Belkin. Kannyn started their career with Belkin in 1996 as a Business Unit Manager, overseeing the Power Protection Products division. In 2000, they became the Business Unit Manager for Networking, responsible for the development and marketing of WiFi and networking products. In 2004, they were promoted to the role of Director of Product Management and Marketing for Belkin Australia, where they managed a team of product managers, graphic designers, and marketing managers. In this position, they provided product management, development, and marketing support for all divisions of Belkin in Australia and New Zealand.

Kannyn Macrae pursued their education from 1987 to 1991 at the University of Arizona. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Media Arts.
