Kanika Singh is a Junior Science Officer at the Belgian Science Policy Office, involved with the Joint Programming Initiative - Climate since March 2023. Previous experience includes a role as a Work Student at Katoen Natie and a Summer Trainee at Doctoral Schools UGent, where participation in the Blue Science and Technology Summer Training included marine and maritime topics. As a Communication Officer at Ostend Science Park, Kanika organized workshops on marine challenges and promoted summer training events. Kanika's early career featured impactful projects with Enactus, Garuda3d, SPYM, and Interact: Rotary Sponsored Club, focusing on social entrepreneurship, food security, and community outreach. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Delhi University.
