Glenn Davidson is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and software development, currently working at the BBC since May 2015. In this role, Glenn has contributed to the design and development of tools for the BBC Archive Technology Services and served as a technical lead for audience-facing products, facilitating the migration of internal services to the cloud. Additionally, Glenn is a part-time lecturer at Belfast Metropolitan College, teaching technical subjects including software development and AR/VR technologies. Previous roles include positions at Allstate Northern Ireland, Flagship Media Ltd, and Kainos, among others, focusing on mobile technology and software solutions across various platforms. Glenn holds an MSc in Telecommunications and Internet Systems from Ulster University and a BEng in Electronics and Software Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast.
