Christof Dewijngaert is an experienced sales and marketing professional currently serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Bekaert, starting July 2024. Prior to this role, Christof held various positions at Bridon-Bekaert The Ropes Group from January 2016 to June 2024, including General Manager Synthetic Ropes and Global Segment Director Structures and Mooring Solutions. Earlier in Christof’s career at Bekaert from April 2011 to June 2016, responsibilities included leading the integration workstream for the joint venture "Bridon-Bekaert" and serving as Product Market Manager for Heavy Duty Belts. Christof began professional endeavors as a Consultant at Arthur D. Little from September 2007 to April 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ghent University and a secondary school degree in Latin-Mathematics from Sint Franciscus Instituut - St M Oudenhove.
