Eva Strand has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Eva began their career at Skandia Insurance Company Ltd as an Accountant from April 1992 to March 1994. Eva then worked as an Account Executive at SINSER (Luxembourg) S from April 1994 to March 1997, followed by a role as an Account Executive at SINSER AB in Stockholm from April 1997 to June 1998.
From August 1998 to December 2006, Strand worked as a Senior Manager at American Express Corporate Travel AB. Eva then joined American Express, where they held various roles, including Director, Head of Financial Control, Nordic from January 2007 to June 2007, and Finance Director from June 2007 to June 2008.
After their tenure at American Express, Strand transitioned to GSK - GlaxoSmithKline AB as a Finance Director. In this role, they reported directly to the VP & Finance Director North & West Europe, and was also a member of the Swedish Leadership Team. Eva'sresponsibilities included leading the Finance & Administration Department, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, accounting, procurement, logistics, and IT. Eva ensured that GSK Sweden fulfilled its corporate and statutory responsibilities. Additionally, in 2010, they were responsible for an extensive organizational change project in the absence of a General Manager. Strand held this position from June 2008 to January 2011.
Following their time at GSK, Strand joined GlaxoSmithKline as a Finance Director and Project Manager from January 2011 to December 2012. Eva'sfinal roles include CFO positions at Haglöfs AB from February 2013 to March 2016, Solera Beverage Group A/S from August 2016 to September 2018, and currently at Beijer Byggmaterial AB starting in November 2018.
Eva Strand attended the University of Uppsala from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Administration. As part of their studies, they focused on Business Administration, Economics, and also took part in the French and English Business Programme. In 1991, Eva also attended the Ecole Supérieur de Commerce de for a brief period to further their knowledge in Business Administration. Prior to their university education, from 1986 to 1987, they pursued Language studies at French, C.U.E.F. Université des Langues et Lettres de.
