Richard O'Keeffe is the Head of Global Quality at BeiGene since May 2023, responsible for GxP compliance, QA, and QC while developing a world-class quality organization. Previously, Richard O'Keeffe held the role of Vice President - Quality (R&D) at Amgen from June 2006 to May 2023, overseeing the R&D function's quality management, including GCP, GLP, and GPvP. Richard O'Keeffe also served as the Quality Site Head and Executive Director at Amgen's Thousand Oaks campus, managing a large team and ensuring quality in clinical and commercial manufacturing. Additional roles at Amgen included Head of International & Distribution Quality and Executive Director for Asia-Pacific Regional Quality. Earlier career experiences include positions at Schering-Plough Research Institute and Schering Pharmaceuticals, focusing on quality assurance and operational management. Richard O'Keeffe holds a BSc in Science from University College Cork, earned between 1986 and 1990.
