Leo Chan has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Leo'smost recent position is Vice President, Head of Bio CMC Global Technical Operation at BeiGene, a role they started in September 2023. Before that, they held various roles at the same company, including Head of Bio CMC, Global Technical Operation and Biologics Manufacturing Plant Head. Prior to joining BeiGene, Leo worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Scientist from December 2014 to June 2018. Leo also held positions at Teruisi Pharmaceutical Inc., Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bayer HealthCare, and Novartis. Leo's expertise spans across a range of scientific and managerial roles in the pharmaceutical industry.

From 2002 to 2004, Leo Chan studied Molecular Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a BA degree.
