Dr. Gerhard Benner currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Regulatory Affairs & Sustainability at Beiersdorf AG Hamburg since September 2018, with global responsibility for regulatory matters. Their extensive experience at Beiersdorf includes roles as Corporate Director for R&D in the Asian Pacific & Near East, Head of R&D for Eucerin, and Director of R&D for Health Care, among others. Prior to their tenure at Beiersdorf, Dr. Benner coordinated R&D activities for Nivea Kao Japan in a joint venture with Beiersdorf and held a section manager position at Unilever. Dr. Benner holds a doctorate in Chemistry from Justus Liebig University Giessen, obtained from 1981 to 1991.
