Hans Petersson has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. Hans began their career as a Support Consultant for JetForm in 1999, then moved on to become a Front-end Developer and Production Lead for Breakaway Solutions. In 2001, they took on the role of Production Lead for Communicraft Limited, followed by Creative Lead, Developer, Strategy, and IT-arch for Evol/Velcro Interactive AB in 2002. In 2006, they became a Kreatör, Webbutvecklare for Favör Reklambyrå. Since 2011, they have held the roles of Developer for BehavioSec and Creative Director for Fyyr.

Hans Petersson's education history includes attending Luleå University of Technology from 2007 to 2008, where they studied English. Hans also attended the same university in 2004, studying Gender Studies, Juridisk Översiktskurs - JÖKen. Basic law, and Retorik (Rhetoric). Prior to that, they attended Sunderby Folkhögskola from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Art. Finally, they attended Uppsala University from 1994 to 1995, where they studied Art History.
