Michael Somers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael is currently the COO at Beetexting, a telecommunications software-as-a-service provider. Prior to that, they held positions such as Co-owner, Board Member, and Director of Sales and Operations at Mavidea Technology Group, LLC, where they provided technology solutions to growing companies. Michael also served as Co-owner, Board Member, and COO at Technocentra. In addition, Michael was involved in the automotive industry as Co-owner and Board Member of Maxlider Brothers Customs. Michael founded internrocket, where they served as CEO until 2019, and led Slingshot CoWork as CEO from 2015 to 2018. Moreover, they held the CEO position at Bloomington Normal Angel Investor Network and worked at the George R. and Martha Means Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Illinois State University in various roles, such as Assistant Director of Development and Vice President at MBA Association. Michael also worked at the George R. and Martha Means Center for Entrepreneurial Studies as an Assistant to the Director and at the Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs as an Assistant to the Managing Director.

Michael Somers attended Lindenwood University in 2007, where they studied Business Administration. Michael then moved on to Illinois State University from 2009 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management, and Economics from the College of Business.
