Girish Rao, PMP® has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Girish began their career as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science in 1990. In 1995, they joined Wisne Design/PICO as a Prog Analyst. In 2000, they moved to Comau as a Data Architect/DBA and Sr. Prog Analyst. Girish was promoted to ICT Manager - Industrial Operations and ICT Applications Manager in 2008. In 2015, they were appointed as President of Exabyte Consulting and Director of Core Development at BEET.

Girish Rao studied Mechanical Engineering at Bangalore University from 1985 to 1990. Girish then attended Clemson University from 1991 to 1994, also studying Mechanical Engineering. Girish has also attended Schoolcraft College and taken courses from SAP and Sri Aurobindo Memorial School. In 2009, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute.
