Dave Early has a strong background in engineering and HVAC systems. Their most recent position was as a Senior Director of Engineering at Bedrock Detroit, where they coordinated and directed projects, analyzed technology and market demand, and oversaw the installation, testing, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Manager - Skilled Crafts at the University of Michigan Health System, where they supervised and assigned work to maintenance staff, managed projects from conception to completion, and conducted interviews for hiring. Dave also worked as an Operating Engineer at Trinity Health System, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, and as an A/C Refrigeration Service Technician at Koch & White Heating & Cooling, where they provided customer service, installed and repaired HVAC systems, and updated pricing books.
Dave Early, LEED Green Associate, completed their education at Cleary University from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they attended Washtenaw Community College from 2008 to 2011, earning their Associate in Arts degree in Business.
In addition to their formal education, Dave has acquired several certifications. In September 2022, they obtained the LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. In February 2014, they completed the LEAN Healthcare program at the University of Michigan. Dave also holds certifications as a Refrigeration Engineer, First Class (obtained in October 2005), Boiler Operator, High Pressure (obtained in August 2005), and EPA 608 Universal Certification (obtained in September 1996), from the City of Dearborn and Ferris State University, respectively.
