Steve Cook is an experienced data management professional with a robust background in data engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Data Engineer and HR Data Manager at Bedfordshire Police, Steve has developed and implemented HR Data Policy and long-term strategies leveraging innovative technologies. Previously, Steve performed as a Project Manager at ASOS.com, overseeing the upgrade of SQL databases and ensuring data integrity through effective collaboration with business and IT teams. With an extensive tenure at Tesco, Steve held various roles including GDPR Product Manager, where responsibility encompassed the design and implementation of GDPR compliance solutions, and Technology Manager, overseeing data transfer architecture and offshore teams.
