Anna Ermakova has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In 2015, they joined The Beckley Foundation as a Science Officer and worked there until November 2016. In 2017, they joined the East London NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Researcher and Clinical Trial Manager, where they worked until June 2018. During 2018, they also worked as a Sloth Technician at the Sloth Research Institute for a brief period of two months. In 2019, they started working at Beckley Psytech as a Clinical Research Consultant and continued there until the present. In February 2020, they joined the Cactus Conservation Institute as a Board Member and Research Scientist, focusing on the conservation and ecology of the peyote cactus. Additionally, since September 2020, they have been serving as a Member of the Council for the Protection of Sacred Plants at the Chacruna Institute. In March 2022, Anna Ermakova also became a Board Member of the Chacruna Institute.

Anna Ermakova has a diverse and comprehensive education history. Anna began their academic journey in 2006 at The University of Edinburgh, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological Science with a focus on Neuroscience. After completing their undergraduate degree in 2010, Anna went on to attend the prestigious University of Cambridge for their postgraduate studies. From 2010 to 2015, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychiatry, further specializing in their chosen field.

After their successful completion of their doctoral program, Anna sought to broaden their knowledge and skills by enrolling in a Master of Science (MS) program. In 2018, they joined Imperial College London, where they engaged in the study of Conservation Science. Their tenure at Imperial College lasted until 2019, during which they deepened their understanding of this field.

Anna's academic trajectory demonstrates their dedication to advancing their knowledge and expertise in various fields. With their educational background in Psychiatry, Neuroscience, and Conservation Science, they possess a well-rounded foundation to contribute to these areas of study.
