Michael Walsh is an experienced professional in the field of construction and real estate development, currently serving as Pre Construction Director at BECK Interiors since January 2023, where responsibilities include managing tendering activities and overseeing business development. Previously, Michael held notable positions at Sonder Inc. as Senior Director for Design, Development & Openings (EMEA) and Director of Real Estate Development (EMEA), leading multi-family and hotel projects through various phases. At InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), Michael served as Vice President of Design & Engineering for Europe, coordinating design and product quality for hotel openings and refurbishments, following roles in capital projects. With a strong foundation starting at Gardiner & Theobald LLP, Michael specialized in the hotel sector and gained extensive experience managing significant projects, also holding positions in quantity surveying early in their career. Michael holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Northumbria.
