Norman Cotterell possesses extensive experience in clinical psychology and cognitive behavior therapy. Currently serving as a Senior Clinician at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy since June 1996, Norman Cotterell is responsible for treating patients, supervising fellows and trainees, facilitating seminars, and organizing training programs. Prior to this role, Norman Cotterell worked at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from June 1989 to June 1996 as a Staff Psychologist in the Center for Cognitive Therapy, supervising post-doctoral fellows and presenting workshops in Cognitive-Behavior Therapy. Additionally, experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow included individual and marital psychotherapy for various affective and anxiety disorders. Norman Cotterell earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Delaware and holds an A.B. in Psychology from Princeton University.
