Michael Hughes is an experienced operations and commissioning professional with a strong background in the energy and chemical sectors. Currently serving as Operations Lead (CSU) at Bechtel Corporation since September 2023, Michael provides direction for the Operations team and manages technical support and performance testing efforts on-site. Previous roles include Commissioning Superintendent at KBR, Inc., overseeing commissioning activities at the Plaquemines LNG facility, and Team Leader at Freeport LNG, where responsibilities encompassed supervising operational activities, ensuring safety compliance, and providing technical support. Michael's career also includes positions as Process Technician at Marathon Petroleum Company and BP, and as a Combat Engineer Specialist in the US Army. Michael holds a Process Technology Certificate from San Jacinto College.
