Caleb Bashant is a Mechanical Engineer at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as President of the Ultimate Frisbee team at Union College, where responsibilities involved leading practices and managing team logistics, and as a Fluid Mechanics Lab Assistant. Caleb's research includes an undergraduate thesis on Laser Reduction of Graphene Oxide for Sensor Applications, and internships with PRECISION VALVE & AUTOMATION focusing on mechanical design and production processes. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College and a Regent Diploma with Mastery in Mathematics and Science from Ballston Spa Senior High School.
