Maria Shakespear is a prominent legal professional specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Financial Technology (Fintech). Currently serving as a partner and a member of the executive committee at Beccar Varela since November 2015, Maria has accumulated extensive experience in the legal field. Prior to this role, Maria worked as a senior lawyer at Estudio Beccar Varela from 1998 to 2015 and gained early experience as an auxiliary at the Tribunales de San Isidro from 1997 to 1999. Maria holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Dundee and a certificate in International Commercial Law from the University of Denver, along with a law degree (Abogada) from the University of Buenos Aires.
