Priscila Marin Amory has a diverse range of work experience in the education sector. Priscila is currently employed as a 1st Grade Dual Language Immersion Teacher at Beaverton School District. Prior to this, they worked at Hillsboro School District as a Dual Language 3rd-grade teacher, where they focused on developing proficiency in both Spanish and English, helping students achieve academic performance in both languages, and boosting their self-esteem.

Before joining the school districts, Priscila worked as a Private Tutor, where they integrated reading and writing to provide a new perspective for students and monitored and assessed their performance. Priscila also developed comprehensive lesson plans and selected resources to meet diverse student needs. Additionally, they worked as an Academic Tutor at Huntington Learning Center, providing targeted instruction in various subjects. Priscila also served as a Site Teacher at Discover Champions at KinderCare Education.

Priscila has experience as a Substitute Teacher at ESS and as a Bilingual Teacher at Salida del Sol Academy in Weld County School District 6, where they taught 1st grade and also worked as a Spanish Translator/Interpreter, helping parents and teachers communicate effectively. Priscila also volunteered as a committee member for Shoes Without Borders, contributing to the organization's fundraising efforts to provide shoes and food to children in extreme poverty in Mexico and South America.

In their earlier years, Priscila was involved in education-related roles at the University of Northern Colorado, where they served as an MAST-EL Scholar, observing and co-teaching math and science lessons to English learners. Priscila also completed an ESL Teacher Practicum, during which they worked with students, prepared and taught lessons, and observed different learning styles.

Throughout their career, Priscila has demonstrated a commitment to bilingual education and supporting students in achieving their academic potential.

Priscila Marin Amory's education history begins in 1986 when they attended Academia Britanica Cuscatlec, where they pursued a degree in Humanities which they completed in 1994. In 2006, they enrolled at Aims Community College to pursue an Associate's degree in Marketing Management, which they completed in 2008.

In 2012, Priscila returned to Aims Community College, this time to study Elementary Education and Teaching. Priscila completed their Associate's degree in this field in 2014. During the same year, they also attended the University of Northern Colorado to further their education in Elementary Education. At the university, they focused on an ESL concentration and obtained a Bilingual/Bicultural Endorsement.

In terms of additional certifications, Priscila obtained an Elementary Teacher certification from the Colorado Department of Education in July 2018. In August 2019, they earned certifications in Flipping the Classroom and Teaching Techniques: Blended Learning from Lynda.com. Priscila also obtained a certification in Teacher of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education & (K-12) Elementary Education (K-6) from the Colorado Department of Education in the same month.

In August 2020, Priscila completed the Learning to Teach Online course from LinkedIn, and in July 2022, they obtained a certification in Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues, also from LinkedIn. Additionally, in August 2022, they earned a World Language: Spanish, PreK-12 certification from the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission. Finally, in August 2023, Priscila received the Working Fluency ACTFL English & Spanish, Global Seal Certified (Working) Fluency certification from the Global Seal of Biliteracy.
