Meagan Lewis has a diverse work experience in the education field. Meagan began their career as a Student Assistant at UT Child Development Center from August 2012 to December 2015. Following that, they worked at Children's Courtyard as a Teacher for two months in 2016. Meagan then joined Wayside Schools as a Kindergarten Teacher, where they served as the team lead for three years. In this role, they were responsible for attending leadership meetings, relaying information to their team, and ensuring deadlines were met. Meagan continued their teaching career at Lincoln County School District, Oregon, where they worked as a 1st Grade Teacher from August 2020 to June 2022. Currently, Meagan is employed as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Beaverton School District, starting from August 2022.

Meagan Lewis pursued their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin from 2012 to 2016. Meagan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Learning and Development, with a focus on Education. Meagan'sfield of study was specifically in Applied Learning and Development (Education) during this time. Additionally, they also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, with a specialization in ESL from the same institution.
