Emily Lux has extensive work experience in the education sector. Emily served as a Fine Arts, AP, and CTE Instructor at the Beaverton School District from August 2015 onwards. Prior to this, they worked as a Special Education Teacher at the Hillsboro School District from August 2012 to July 2015. In addition to their teaching experience, Emily also ran their own business, Emily Lux Painting, where they worked as a Book Illustrator and a Painter/Muralist. Emily Lux began their education journey at Pacific Northwest College of Art, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting from 1998 to 2002. Later, in 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Masters in Teaching degree in Art and Special Education at Pacific University. Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Emily attended Lewis & Clark College, focusing on Educational Leadership and Administration, General.
