René van Eyssen has over 25 years of work experience in the spa and wellness industry. René currently serves as The Coach House Wellness Director at Beaverbrook since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Regional AMAN Spa Director - Europe for Aman Europe based in London from 2015 to 2022. In this role, they led multiple Aman spa properties and ensured high guest satisfaction and business performance. René also worked as a Spa Manager at Aman Spa, Connaught Hotel in Mayfair from 2010 to 2015. René has experience as a Spa Consultant, Training and Standards Manager, and Operations Manager in various organizations. René also served as an NVQ Beauty Therapy Lecturer at West Thames College and started their career as a Mobile Therapist.

René van Eyssen began their education in 1992 at the Face-to-face School of Holistic and Beauty Therapies. During this time, they studied a range of subjects including Anatomy, Physiology, Physiatrics, Aesthetics, Cosmetic Science, Dermatology, Nutrition, and Hydrotherapy. In 1992-1993, they also pursued additional qualifications through the ITEC International Therapists Examining Council Ltd in Physiatrics, Aestheticienne, Reflex Zone Therapy, Aromatherapy, and Make-up Art.

In 2005-2006, René attended West Thames College and obtained a Teacher Training Qualification (City and Guilds 7407). This furthered their educational background in preparation for a teaching career.

In 2013-2014, René enrolled at Craniosacral Asia and completed Craniosacral Therapy levels 1 and 2.

Overall, René van Eyssen's education includes a variety of subjects related to holistic and beauty therapies, teaching training, and craniosacral therapy.
