Art Vallez has over 25 years of work experience in customer service and customer experience roles. In 2016, they were the Director of Customer Experience at Beautylish and the Customer Experience Manager at Beautylish.com. In 2016, Art was also the Customer Service Manager at Peets, where they managed recruiting, hiring and training of new Customer Service Specialists. From 2007 to 2016, Art was the Manager of Client Services at Sephora.com, where they managed recruiting, hiring and development of in-house Call Center team members. From 2002 to 2007, Art was the Manager of Customer Service/Training/Communications at Tilia/Jarden Direct, Inc. (Division of Jarden Consumer Solutions). During this time, they created and implemented standardized customer support and sales scripting in partnership with Legal and Marketing teams. From 1996 to 2002, Art was the Director of Communications & Training at Providian Financial, where they were responsible for the development of credit card product training, scripting and communication of customer impact issues for multiple Call Centers in 5 locations within the USA. Finally, from 1994 to 1996, Art was the Supervisor of Customer Relations at Working Assets Inc (Credo). Art was responsible for the hiring, training, coaching and supervision of 14-16 customer service associates.
