Daniel Lennon has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked at beatBread as an Account Manager starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they were at DistroKid from March 2020 to April 2022, where they served as an Artist Relations specialist. In this role, Daniel acted as the main contact for thousands of artists, providing troubleshooting support and best practices on distribution for independent musicians. Daniel also conducted detailed analyses of royalties and earnings and educated artists on the style guides of various stores and streaming platforms.
Before joining DistroKid, Daniel founded Sole Artist Strategies in 2017 and worked there until April 2022. As the Founder and Artist Strategist, they handled various responsibilities, such as managing social media platforms, running paid campaigns, optimizing monetization efforts, and organizing events.
Daniel also has experience as a Music Teacher at Illumination Learning Studio from February 2018 to March 2020. In addition, they worked as a Marketing Manager (Contract) at WITHYN Records from March 2019 to October 2019, where they managed social media, analyzed audience engagement, collaborated with curators, and executed email marketing campaigns.
Furthermore, Daniel's work history includes freelancing as a Musician from September 2013 to September 2019. Daniel has toured extensively in North America and Asia, recorded with international artists like Sam Bradley, Anna Truong, and Lee Lindsey, and contributed composition to nationally touring bands.
Lastly, Daniel had an Editorial Internship at The Fretboard Journal from January 2018 to September 2018.
Daniel Lennon completed their Bachelor's degree in Music Business at Berklee College of Music in 2020. The exact duration of their education prior to 2020 is unknown.
