Shawn Fernance has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the MA PL & CL Customer Service State Manager at Bearingstar Insurance since 2016, where responsibilities include managing six front line managers and approximately thirty-five agents across nine locations, while implementing change management strategies. Prior roles include Senior Team Manager and Team Manager at Bearingstar Insurance, focusing on team performance and production. Shawn previously held the position of Claims Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance, overseeing a large repair organization and implementing process improvements to enhance customer service. Earlier experience includes management roles at Safeco Insurance and The Hartford Insurance Group, along with a foundational role as a Field Representative at Safeco. Shawn holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Humanities from the University of Connecticut and an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design from Tunxis Community College.
